Blue color
Blue color gives pleasant emotions. It is color of protection, calmness, harmony, friendliness, color of motherhood.
Blue color’s meaning starts with blue color of cloudless sky. In mythology, heaven was a place of gods, spirits of ancestors, angels. Therefore blue color meant divinity.
In Ancient Egypt blue color was considered as the color of truth. Therefore blue stone “lapis lazuli” was especially appreciated. Blue color symbolized heaven, which was Ra home (Supreme God of Sun).
Blue color for Christians symbolized heaven and was color of eternity, humility, goodness, expressed idea of self-sacrifice and gentleness.
In the medieval Europe blue color was a color of knight who wanted to show his fidelity in love to a woman.
The negative side of blue color starts because of dark blue looks like black color. And black color is a color of death and evil. Besides blue color is an antipode of red and yellow colors, which are symbolized life, pleasure and flowering.
