Aromas nowadays
Today aromas are used for room aromatization, creation an atmosphere of a comfort and calmness. However, you can often see a treatment by smells, a so-called aromatherapy. It is based on supposition, that each smell have a certain influence to a person.
The easiest and widespread way to aromatize a room is using aromatic lamps. They look like a small saucer, which are put on a support. Into this support you put a candle, and into a saucer you pour water and some drops of aromatic oil. Water evaporates and gives out a smell.
One more way to aromatize a room is aromatic sticks. These sticks are impregnated with essential oils, which are evaporated with burning. When you burn sticks there is ashes, that’s why sticks put in special wooden or metal supports.
Aromatic sticks are handicraft-make. In India sticks are made from bamboo. It dips in a coal, and then in essential oils. They are thicker, than Japanese sticks and have heavier smell.
