Husband’s duties in Islam
Husband should treat to his wife respectful and doesn’t forbid her what Islam traditions allow. A husband should be indulgent to his wife, be patient. A husband should have an authority to his wife, but at the same time he should be tender and kind because of his wife creates warm and cosiness and brings happiness into his home. Financial position of family falls on husband’s shoulders. He should provide his wife with food, clothes and comfortable living conditions. He shouldn’t be greedy, but he shouldn’t be prodigal too.
A husband should help his wife to get necessary knowledge about religion, and husband should watch a performance of norms and traditions of Islam in his family and protect his family from forbidden.
If a man has several wives, he should take care equally and justly to all of them, divide his attention between all his wives.
A husband should not offend and humble his wife and her relatives with words or actions. He shouldn’t criticize his wife if strangers can hear it, he should choose a suitable time and place for this talk.
Husband’s and wife’s acts should be directed to create peace and calmness in their family, and avoid quarrels.
