To follow in the tracks of an ancient civilization
Now Egypt one of the largest world summer seasides resorts. It involves tourists not only by Mediterranean and Red Seas, which are washing its coasts, but also by remains of an ancient civilization.
Before appearance the Egyptian civilization on a world map, Mediterranean Sea was divided by a long isthmus to two arms. This isthmus connected Tunis and Italy. But a cataclysm, which reasons are unknown, destroyed this bridge and left only pieces, which is named Maltese archipelago. A nature in Northern Africa had changed too. Forests were disappeared, and desert was appeared.
In the fourth millennium BC there were first settlers, which were capable to regulate uliginous waters of Nile, to make farm works, to build settlements and cities.
Egyptians asserted that history had begun with reign of Osiris. This god and tsar united vagrant tribes and taught them how to grow up wheat, grapes and other crops, taught how to extract and process metals. A god Tot taught Egyptians how to write. So Osiris finished his mission and left Egypt. He left his wife Isida to rule a people and went to the East to teach other people. But when he came back, his brother Set killed him and took over a throne. He scattered parts of Osiris’s body on all territory of Egypt. Isida (Osiris’s widow) went to search parts of Osiris body. When she had all parts she joined them. Owing to Isida’s tears Osiris had revived. He left his wife and little son Gor, and risen on heavens. When Gor had grown up he killed Set and returned a throne to himself.
